Launch of Brent Street Art Project

Last night saw the launch of the Brent Street Art Project at Brent Town Hall. The event brought together professional Street Artists, representatives from the Youth Parliament, students from local schools, councillors and many more.

The event gave young people the opportunity to sign up to the Brent Street Art project; a series of Street Art workshops leading up to a Youth Secret Wars event. The Youth Secret Wars event is like a Break Dance battle but artists battle with Wall Art instead of dance. Find out more about Secret Wars here.

There were live Street Art demos from the artist and a voting wall where people could comment on different graffiti samples. Everyone there got involved in sketching and doodling and picked up tips from the artists.
